Dr Ronen Zeidel is an Iraq specialist in the Moshe Dayan Center , Tel Aviv University. He teaches in the university of Haifa, the Interdisciplinary Center, Hertzliya and the Emeq Yizrael College. His research covers Iraqi politics, society, identity and culture , as well as Iraqi-Israeli relations and Iraq’s role in the region. In addition to his publications in English, Dr Zeidel publishes in Arabic in Baghdad. He is also a fully engaged activist  and organizer of Israeli-Iraqi encounters and collaborations in various fields.
