Reef Itzhaki

Reef Itzhaki is the Government and External Relations Coordinator at Mitvim. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication from Tel Aviv University, and is an alumnus of the European Union studies program. Moreover, Reef holds a master’s degree in European Studies from Heinrich Heine University in Dusseldorf. As part of his thesis, Reef analyzed to what extent European students perceive the EU as a normative power vis-à-vis its neighboring countries. In parallel with his studies, Reef participated in various political activities: In the foreign relations sphere, Reef managed an advocacy project as part of the public diplomacy program of StandWithUs. In the social sphere, he promoted projects for the organization “121 – Engine for Social Change” to strengthen nutritional security in secondary schools, and to foster subsidization of professional training at the beginning of the Corona pandemic.
