all posts by Dr. Ehud EiranEhud (Udi) Eiran is a Board Member at Mitvim and an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of Haifa. Dr. Eiran holds degrees in Law and Political Science from Tel-Aviv University, Cambridge University, and Brandeis University. He held research appointments at Harvard Law School, Harvard’s Kennedy School, and Brandeis University and was a visiting lecturer in the Department of Political Science at MIT. Prior to his academic career Dr. Eiran held a number of positions in the Israeli civil service including clerking for two Attorney Generals, and as Assistant to the Prime Minister’s Foreign Policy Advisor. Dr. Eiran has published numerous analytical pieces in popular and scholarly outlets including the New York Times.com, Foreign Affairs.com, Newsweek, and the Harvard Negotiation Law Review. Eiran was a guest on leading American shows such Charlie Rose and NPR’s On-Point. Eiran is interested in practical and theoretical aspects of international conflict and conflict resolution, with a particular interest in the Arab-Israeli conflict and in spatial aspects of international conflicts.
